GLIDING CLUB

The Geelong College Gliding Club was first established as a Friday activity session in about 1972, and continued into the late 1970s reaching its peak at that time. The club initially provided activities and excursions to Bacchus Marsh but later sponsored regular courses at the Benalla Aerodrome under the auspices of the Victorian Gliding Association.

The group was led by a staff member, Bruce McLeod (1933-2009).
