GEELONG AMATEUR FOOTBALL CLUB

Originally established in 1926, it then consisted largely of former students of the Geelong College and Geelong Grammar School and adopted the colours green and light blue as a consequence.

In 1957, the club commenced playing on a large oval at Queen’s Park provided by the Newtown and Chilwell City Council. At the time the club had about seventy members.
