MYERS, John Edward (1878- )

John Edward Myers was born on 22 July 1878 at Lillimur in Western Victoria, the son of Abraham Myers (1847-1910) and Sarah Alice nee Renney. John Edward Myers died at Young, NSW on 29 August 1957.

He may be the individual named as 'J E Myers' on the South African War Tablet in the Senior School Dining Hall, however there is no enrolment record confirming his attendance at Geelong College.

He served in the Anglo-Boer War with the Victorian Bushmen contingent.
