BURNSIDE, Kenneth Witchell (-1975)

Staff member, K W Burnside, who was senior mathematics master at the College in 1926-7, died at Southport, Queensland. For most of his life he was prominent in business circles in Geelong and was a generous servant and benefactor of the Presbyterian Church and of Morongo. Ken donated land at Anglesea for PFA camps and this location was known as Camp Burnside. His son Ross was a Collegian of the years 1947 to 1948.
